Looking after your Moloko paddleboard
A little care between sessions helps you keep track of your kit and notice problems before your next paddle. Always follow the instructions supplied with your particular board and pump.
Check before you inflate
Look over the board, valve, fin box, leash and paddle for damage or wear. Check that fittings are present and secure. If anything looks damaged or behaves differently, stop and seek advice.
Follow the supplied pressure instructions
Use the pressure range and inflation procedure specified for your board. Check the pump gauge and connector instructions. Do not transfer a pressure recommendation from a different model or accessory.
After your paddle
Follow the board instructions for cleaning, drying and storage. Check the valve area and fittings before packing. Keep small parts together so they are easy to find next time.
Packing and storage
Use the supplied packing guidance for the fin box and board. Avoid forcing the board into a bag or bending fittings against the fold. Store the kit in the conditions specified by its manufacturer.
When you need help
Make a note of your model and order details, and describe what you have noticed. Do not attempt an unfamiliar repair or use damaged kit before getting appropriate advice.
